Born in Tallahassee, Florida in 1963, Mr. Gomez is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers as well as the Cobb County Bar Association. In 1985 he graduated from Mercer University. Then in 1988 he graduated law school and earned his J.D. degree from Georgia State University.

His languages include both Spanish and French. Mr. Gomez served as the former assistant to the Solicitor General in Cobb County and held the same title for the Office of the Solicitor General of the City Council of Atlanta. He also served the Office of the Public Defender for the Municipal Court of Atlanta.

In addition to representing clients charged with driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated, Mr. Gomez’s practice areas also include criminal law and felony and misdemeanor defense.
